ARCHIPÉLAGO presents its first outdoor collection, 51° – 7° ESSEN, which will be shown for the first time in the new A–House this spring. The collection is inspired by the industrial architecture of the Ruhr region and German modernism of the 20th century. Its name refers to the geographic coordinates of the city of Essen.

The collection treats street furniture as part of the urban environment. Engineering logic, precise proportions and repeated structural elements shape its architectural language. A metal frame sets its rhythm and strict geometry.

The collection includes four pieces: dining chairs and lounge chairs, with and without armrests. All models are stackable. The powder-coated steel frame has anti-corrosion treatment for outdoor use, and the removable cushions are made of water-repellent outdoor fabric.
