By Rydéns is a lighting company with a family business history that began in Gnosjö in 1958, when Arne Rydén founded the company. It started with household utensils, candleholders and gift items.

Around 2011 the company completed its branding work, and the By Rydéns brand was established. The company focuses on lighting fixtures and controls its supply chain, from design and product development to manufacturing, quality assurance, delivery and service.

By Rydéns has branches in Sweden, Norway, Germany, China and Hong Kong, and is represented through agents and dealer networks in various markets. It releases two collections a year, created with designers. In 2024 the Swedish investment company Midaq acquired 80% of the company, and the head office remains in Gnosjö.
