Kave began as a small warehouse project in Sils, where mattresses were distributed to hotels along the Costa Brava. The project was led locally by Francesc Julià and grew through the work of many people who contributed their time, skills and a shared desire to improve.

The company states that it creates objects and furniture designed to accompany people throughout their lives. Its approach centres on furniture that endures, shares space and evolves over time, with a focus on timelessness, versatility and character.

According to the company, its culture is based on trust, curiosity and the desire to leave a long-term mark. The brand also says it is proud of its Mediterranean spirit and its roots.
