raawii is a design brand founded in 2017 in Copenhagen, Denmark, by Bo Raahauge Rasmussen and Nicholai Wiig-Hansen. The name combines the first letters of their last names. The founders describe the brand as a design platform that aims to use creativity to contribute to cultural and social advancement.
The design philosophy is built on curiosity. The team looks for better, unknown solutions and for partners who challenge its way of working. Art is a key source of inspiration; the first collection, Strøm, references a known Danish cubist painting.
Diversity in design is one of the brand's principles, while all products share sculptural qualities in volume and shape and a bold use of colour.
