Tecta

publicCatalog.brand.about.title

Tecta is a family company that continues the design history of the Bauhaus. The company actively preserves and develops the Bauhaus heritage, combining craftsmanship, design, and experience.

Tecta prides itself on its independence in production decisions, guided by its own ideas and passion for furniture rather than fashion trends or market analyses. The company aims to preserve knowledge, create value, and maintain production in Germany, being locally anchored yet globally connected.

Managed for four generations, the company includes its own workshops (carpentry, locksmithing, upholstery, weaving) with a team of around 35 employees seeking innovative materials and techniques. Tecta focuses on extending the lifecycle of its models, blending artisanal tradition with individual manufacturing.
