About the manufacturer
myfelt is based in Berlin, Germany, and has been designing felt products since 2013. Its mission is to produce environmentally responsible and economically fair products, using natural, unprocessed 100% wool felt and traditional Nepalese craftsmanship.
Since 2014 myfelt has worked with GoodWeave, an organisation associated with fair and socially sustainable production in the carpet industry. The company states that it is the only manufacturer of felt ball carpets with official GoodWeave certification. Production uses pollutant-free colors, and a long-standing partner factory in Nepal is part of the process.
Wool comes from hand-picked suppliers in New Zealand, with defined animal welfare rules. Felt ball rugs, felt carpets and accessories are sold through selected online shops, catalogs and specialist retailers across Europe.
