Ascios

Description

Ascios, from the Strata series, rescues memories that the mind reconfigures. This piece takes its name from the term "ascios": areas of the equator where the sun falls perpendicular so that no shadows are projected. Three canvases that evoke a midday on the beach: the murmur of the waves and the wind, the heat of the sun on the skin and those glimmers that persist behind the eyelids.
