Tufty-Time 20 is the contemporary evolution of Patricia Urquiola's historic project for B&B Italia. More fluidity and circularity for a sofa that allows for infinite compositions that winks at the environment, Tufty-Time 20 is in fact completely disassembled so that all its parts can be recovered at the end of the product's life cycle. Tufty-Time 20 has an internal frame in tubular steel and profiles, padding in Bayfit® flexible cold polyurethane foam with polyester fiber lining, feet in thermoplastic material. The upholstery is in fabric or leather. It is a generous and enveloping sofa with a free and informal design inspired by the Chesterfield and capitonné spirit. Twenty years after its launch, the system has been reinterpreted while maintaining the essential characteristics that have decreed its great success, including modularity, enveloping comfort and compositional flexibility.
