Soda is Miniforms’ blown-glass coffee table, designed by Yiannis Ghikas and winner of the Archiproducts Design Award 2020, the AZ Awards 2021 and the Dezeen Awards 2021.The blown-glass Soda table is created upside down, shaped by a single breath that defines its structure in one gesture. A clover-shaped base supports a robust circular top, and the name “Soda” — recalling one of the fundamental components of glass — highlights its connection to the knowledge of master glassmakers and to a crafting process that preserves its artisanal identity.Soda is produced as a single volume, with three petals that serve as supports and lift the top. Its surface features a hard, hammered texture that creates ripples of transparency and subtle shadows where the glass layers overlap.The Soda blown-glass table is ideal for living rooms and hospitality spaces and is defined by one key aspect: each piece is blown and shaped by hand by artisans, making every table unique in its nuances, surface vibrations and delicate signs of the making process.Soda can be used on its own or combined in the two available sizes, creating balanced clusters within the space. The choice of finish allows its luminous presence to adapt to the setting, with lighter tones suited to compact areas and deeper colours ideal for larger rooms.Soda has been designed as a coffee table; it is not intended for use as a seating element.
