The Moor Rug AP19 was included in 2024 in the Moor collection created by Copenhagen-based international design studio All the Way to Paris founded in 2004 by Petra Olsson Gendt and Tanja Vib.The Moor Rug AP19, echoes the theme that inspired the entire collection: the intent is to recreate the color modulations of heather-covered hills, typical of Scandinavian landscapes, through the luster of the fine fibers used. Compared to previous examples, the AP19 rug is enriched with a cotton fringe, a tactile detail that updates the original design of the rugs, making the experience of using them even more engaging and sensory. Made in Bikaneer, India, by skilled artisans skilled in hand-weaving, who craft each piece using a precious blend of New Zealand wool. The result is a dense, soft velvet, made all the more appealing by the off-white hue of the cotton fringe, made directly from the warp threads, creating an informal, eye-catching pattern.
