The Koan Plus partition panel system by Lualdi, designed by Kokaistudios, interprets the theme of architectural partitioning in a contemporary key, offering a configurable solution composed of fixed and sliding panels. The project brings together the warmth of wood, the transparency of glass, and the precision of aluminum, creating a formal balance that combines geometric rigor with material depth.Conceived for large-scale residential and contract projects, Koan Plus stands out for a design approach strongly oriented toward customization. Each system is developed on a project basis, allowing the composition to be defined according to spatial and functional requirements while maintaining strong aesthetic coherence. References to traditional partitions of Eastern origin emerge in the modular rhythm of the elements, reinterpreted through an essential and restrained language.From a construction standpoint, the system features panels with a 50 mm thick leaf, configurable in various combinations of sliding and fixed elements. It is available with 6 mm safety glass, aluminum profiles, and wooden slats offered in natural oak, moka oak, or canaletto walnut, combined with extra-clear, gray, or bronze glass. The track integrates a decelerating system with height-adjustable carriages, while the handle is included. The alternation of vertical and horizontal slats enhances the glass panel, transforming Koan Plus into a true furnishing element capable of defining space with continuity and design precision.
