The internal door L41, designed by Piero Lissoni for Lualdi, interprets the concept of the pocket sliding door through an essential and refined language, where technology and material coexist in a rigorous balance. The project stands out for the dialogue between the visual depth of the aluminium jamb and the surface of the panel, available in wood or glass, creating a measured yet distinctive architectural presence.L41 integrates naturally into residential and professional settings, enhancing space through a wide and articulated range of finishes. Fine wood veneers are combined with glossy and matte lacquers, while the glass versions, clear, reflective or back-lacquered, amplify light penetration and visual continuity between rooms. The telescopic aluminium jamb, a defining element of the system, introduces a contemporary technical detail that precisely and lightly defines the opening.From a construction perspective, L41 is a pocket sliding door composed of a panel and an aluminium extruded jamb, designed for installation on a frameless pocket system. The wooden panel features a hollow-core structure, while the glass version uses laminated safety glass with a perimeter aluminium frame, ensuring solidity, formal clarity and overall design coherence.
