The Panton Chair, conceived by Verner Panton for Vitra, is the result of a long design research carried out in 1960. The Outdoor version from 1999 is based on the identical model.Series production arrived in 1967 and was an immediate success. Due to the modernity of the material and the particularity of the shape: elastic and sinuous, designed to follow the anatomy of the body. Injection moulded from a single block of polypropylene, stackable up to a maximum of five elements, the Panton Chair is suitable for home, office and outdoor use.The famous chair was featured on a Vogue UK cover in the 1990s.Back, seat and base: mass-dyed polypropylene. Matt finish. Also suitable for outdoor use.Note: special additives retard fading due to UV rays. However, exposure to sunlight for prolonged periods may cause discolouration over time. It is therefore recommended not to expose the chair to more sunlight than necessary.
