Опис

The Capitol Complex Chair is part of the Hommage À Pierre Jeanneret collection by Cassina that pays homage to one of the most recognizable and symbolic personalities of modernism. Made of dark walnut-stained oak, this chair retains intact the architectural character of the original design conceived for the institutional spaces of Chandigarh's famous Capitol Complex, a work by Le Corbusier listed as a UNESCO heritage site. The solid wood frame highlights the iconic inverted "V" sidebars, a distinctive signature of Jeanneret's design language, while the balance between essential geometries and rigorous proportions gives the seat a sophisticated and authentic presence. The seat cushion upholstered in Osaka 030 color Cipria fabric introduces a textural yet soft and comfortable note, creating a harmonious contrast with the depth of the wood. Designed for residential and contract environments, this Cassina chair interprets historic design with a timeless aesthetic, ideal for dining rooms, professional offices and contemporary spaces with high stylistic research. Accurate woodworking and attention to detail express Italian manufacturing excellence, enhancing any environment with a discreet yet distinctive presence.
