Mezzadro is a stool by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Zanotta, made of chromed steel and seat painted in various colors. Base in beech wood natural color. Mezzadro is a stool that is more than all the ready-made, that is, to use a portion of an existing object, confirming its form, but by shifting the place and manner of use. The Castiglioni brothers so they decide to use the seat of a tractor, as a stool to use in our homes. Designed in the early years of the twentieth century, it is confirmed today as a cult object of Made in Italy design.
