Designed as a mobile and transversal element, it introduces a discreet and measured sense of service. The project takes inspiration from the umbrella and shoe racks placed at the entrances of temples and shrines in Japan. This cue is translated into a light, precise structure defined by clean lines and a balanced expression typical of contemporary Japanese aesthetics. The frame features contrasting wooden joinery that echoes the construction of the shelving system, creating continuity within the collection and reinforcing its identity. A paper-braid handle adds a tactile component that completes the experience, introducing a natural material that complements the wooden surfaces. The proportions, the rhythm of the rails and the visual lightness of the trays suggest flexible use in living areas or contract settings, where the cart can support beverage preparation or discreetly accompany a lounge or dining area.
