A re-edition of a piece of furniture designed for the Hotel Doron in Méribel, this console proposed by Cassina is part of the group of free-form furniture designed by Charlotte Perriand. The structure is distinguished by the irregular course of the top, which tilts decisively at the front, generating a broken, dynamic line. The overall effect returns an essential object, but with a strong, well-defined presence. The design approach focuses on the balance between form and function, allowing the attention to woodworking and care in the rendering of volumes to emerge. Designed to adapt naturally to different rooms, it can find a place in the entrance hall, living area or transition rooms. The Console Doron is available in different finishes: canaletto walnut, with visible and textured grain, or lacquered in matt or glossy versions. The asymmetrical conformation requires a choice of orientation - right or left - depending on the installation context. A piece that narrates an approach to design based on plastic research and formal experimentation, without renouncing everyday functionality.
