Shape is a console designed by Uto Balmoral for Mogg, made of MDF and available in three finishes: matt lacquered, direct glossy or hand-spatulated textured. Each treatment restores a different perception of volume, accentuating the presence of the surface or enhancing the relationship with light.The design is based on a precise balance between top and structure. The leg is not a simple support, but an integral part of the form, in direct dialogue with the top. The proportions are designed to ensure visual stability and formal coherence, without resorting to superfluous effects. Shape fits naturally into various spaces in the home: in the entrance hall, in a hallway or along a corridor. It functions as an element of passage, useful but also capable of marking space. Its strength lies in the simplicity of the sign and in the care of the finish, which makes each piece different while remaining faithful to the original design.The design is essential, but not neutral. It is notable for its attention to detail and for the way structure and material hold together, without ever overlapping.
