How to export an estimate to Excel

Designers often need to send a client an estimate in a convenient format or export the data to work with in Excel. ArchiBoard exports the whole estimate or part of it, with or without prices, with product photos and alternatives — all set up before you download.

  1. 1

    Select items (if needed)

If you need only some items rather than the whole estimate, tick them in the list.

  2. 2

    Open the export

    Open «Estimates» and click «Export to Excel».

  3. 3

    Choose rooms and items

In the export settings, choose the rooms you need or «Whole estimate». If you ticked items, turn on «Selected items only».

  4. 4

    Set up the content

Turn product prices and photos on or off. Optionally add alternatives — they appear below the main products marked «Alternative option».

  5. 5

    Download the file

Click «Download Excel». The file downloads to your device with one sheet containing all estimate fields.

Good to know

  • The Excel file puts all estimate fields on one sheet, including the studio's internal data (purchase price, markup, profit).
  • If export with alternatives is on, the bottom of the document shows the base total and the total including alternatives.
  • The studio logo is taken from your «Profile Settings» — check it in advance.
  • For a client version without internal figures, use «Export to PDF» — markup and profit are not shown there.
