5. Exporting an estimate for a client

Why. To send a neat document to your client: only the necessary rooms or items, with or without prices.

How to do it.

1. If not all items are needed, check the boxes next to them.
2. Estimates → "Export to PDF" or "Export to Excel".
3. In "Rooms", select the ones you need or "Whole estimate". If items are checked, enable "Only selected items".
4. Turn prices and photos on or off. Optionally, include alternatives.
5. "Download PDF" / "Download Excel".

Good to know.

• An alternative in the document appears under the main item with the label "Alternative option". At the bottom, you'll see the base total and the total with alternatives.
• Your studio's logo is taken from your profile settings.
• Your studio's internal figures (purchase price, markup, profit) are not included in the client PDF. Excel provides one sheet with all fields.
